Library Camp
This is the first post of the blog. I have just gotten back from the Library Camp 2010, organised by the Library CCA, open to all Library members.
The camp consists of a 2D1N stay in the Hwa Chong Institution school campus, with a room in the Ong Teng Cheong Student Activities & Leadership Centre for sleeping (participants have to bring their own sleeping bags).
The first day, participants have to arrive after breakfast and gather at the Kong Chian Library. After that, participants will put their bags down at the Ong Teng Cheong Student Activities & Leadership Centre and go for sports activities, either basketball or the Weights & Cardios room.
After that, participants are to head to the canteen, where lunch is provided. After lunch, they are to change into home cloth to head to Plaza Singapura to wantch the movie Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. After the movie, they are to have dinner at Plaza Singapura, and return to the Ong Teng Cheong Student Activities & Leadership Centre for night activities, which consists of a walk around the school and a Movie Marathon, which laster until 11.30 p.m. The next day, after breakfast, the participants are to travel to the Queenstown Public Library for Two hours of Community Involvement Programme. After that, they will have lunch in the nearby hawker centre, and travel back to school.
Back at school, the participants will go to the Kong Chian Library for the Library Challenge, which consists of wrapping, shelving, typing, and a quiz, then, the participants are dismissed.
